San Jacopo church in Campo Corbolini held a contemporary art exhibition La Firenze di Alfonso Mangone for two days, October 26th to 27th. Alfonso Mangone is a nationally and internationally recognized artist. Having been a traveler for most of his life, he is known for his representations of a number of different cities and adaptations of Greek myths. Among those cities is Florence, where he began his artistic career here. His works depicting Florence, such as Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti were brought to Florence as a part of the Florence Biennale.
