European art took a grand step when Michelangelo praised the beauty and strength from human body. Active and magnificent, his figures are celebrated even after half a millennium. A special exhibition the Mortal Veil in Casa Buonaroti sheds light on Michelangelo’s studies on human body.
The education programs of the Mortal Veil were directed by LdM students majoring in museum studies in Marist college. Helping visitors understand Michelangelo better, LdM students’ role was a bridge between people and curators. They recall their two months of work as a challenge full of lessons and rewards.
LdM news invites you to see what LdM students brought to life and to hear their own words about their work.
