Floating cities and urban development

Architect Llaria Rondina and her team offer an innovative solution to cities that are facing problems of overpopulation and lack of space. Llaria Rondina and her team have traveled to Poland, Belarus, the Ukraine, and Turkey introducing the idea of floating cities.

The project proposes different floating cities that are each their own identity built around rivers and seas. At the Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute Llaria Rondina talks more about how this project can apply directly to the city of Florence.
